Downtown Parking
Downtown Martinez uses a three-zone metered parking system to support convenient access to shops, restaurants, and businesses. Meters are enforced Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (excluding holidays) and rates remain lower than many surrounding communities, with 10-hour parking available for just $0.50 per hour.
-
2-Hour Parking: Located along Main Street and nearby side streets to encourage quick turnover for shopping and dining.
-
4-Hour Parking: Available on Escobar Street, Ward Street, and adjacent areas to support visits to service businesses.
-
10-Hour Parking: Over 300 spaces on the edges of downtown provide affordable long-term parking for employees and longer visits.

10-Hour Parking Pass
10-hour parking passes are available for residents and County employees and may be purchased semi-annually or annually. Passes can be obtained at the City Hall payment window on the 2nd floor.
Pricing:
- $1,106/Annual

Juror Parking
The City welcomes over 200 new jurors every week. We hope you take time to visit our shops and restaurants. We suggest that jurors park in the long term parking meter zones (or in the County parking lot off Mellus Street.) Many of these 10-hour zones are located within a short walk of the Courts.
The purple highlighted areas (click here to see map) are the lower cost 10-hour meter locations.
