Support the City of Martinez

The City accepts donations and sponsorships that support programs, projects, events, and services benefitting the community. Sponsorships for Community and Recreation Services programs and special events are administered through a separate Recreation Sponsorship Program. For all other donations and sponsorships, please review the information below.  

All donations and sponsorships are reviewed prior to acceptance to ensure they serve a valid public purpose, align with the City’s strategic goals and values, and comply with applicable laws. Individuals and organizations interested in offering a donation or sponsorship must complete and submit a Donation and Sponsorship Form to Eve Kearney. How Contributions Support the Community

Donations and sponsorships may help the City:

• Advance City Council priorities outlined in the City's Four-Year Strategic Plan
• Enhance public spaces, facilities, and community amenities
• Support infrastructure and capital improvement projects
• Sustain and improve existing City services and initiatives
• Partner with nonprofits and community organizations aligned with City goals
• Help the City offset costs for public services 

Donation and Sponsorship Types

Donations or gifts are monetary or non-monetary contributions made without expectation of goods or services in return and may be unrestricted or restricted to a specific purpose. 

Sponsorships are monetary or in-kind contributions provided with the expectation of recognition or publicity.
