Martinez celebrates the Lunar New Year to bring good fortune and prosperity to our community. The annual celebration features martial arts demonstrations, lion dancers, firecrackers, booths, farmer's market, giveaways and more. The event is organized by community leader Vana Tran and takes place on Main Street in the heart of downtown every February.

John Muir Birthday - Earth Day Celebration

4th of July Parade & Fireworks 

Join us for a patriotic extravaganza at the Annual Downtown Martinez 4th of July Parade. It's time to paint Main Street red, white, and blue as over 40 spirited entries march down the heart of downtown Martinez in a dazzling display of community pride and celebration.

It's not over after the parade! A fireworks show dazzles spectators at the Waterfront Park Martinez Shoreline at 9pm. This spectacular 20-minute show promises a breathtaking display of lights and colors in the night sky. Open to the public, this event offers a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to come together and celebrate. Beaver Fest

The Martinez Beaver Festival is a beloved annual community event held at Susana Park.
