On May 18, 2020, the Contra Costa County Health Officer issued a new shelter-in-place ORDER HO-COVID19-14 to supersede the prior Order issued on April 29, 2020. This new Order went into effect at 6:00 a.m. on May 19, 2020, and “will continue to be in effect until it is extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing by the Health Officer.”

Any group, organization, company or family may make a guaranteed park reservation through Recreation Division. Reservations will be taken beginning February 15, 2018 of the current year for City residents. Non-residents may make reservations beginning March 1, 2018 of the current year. Fees for deposits and rentals vary, depending on the facility desired. We accept MasterCard and Visa; however, you will be required to come into our office to sign and pick up the permit. Reservations for City park and athletic facilities for practice and organized league play should be made through Recreation Division. Priority will be given to recognized youth sport organizations and sanctioned Recreation Division programs. Facility use requests will be accepted only from program representatives. (Individual team managers will not be recognized without authorization from league directors.) Contact Martinez Recreation Division at 372-3510 for facility availability and group qualifications.
