Holiday Highlands Park

News:

  • CITY PARK USE: The latest Contra Costa County Health Order continues to permit use of playgrounds, tennis courts and skate parks but also maintains the following restrictions for park and recreational facilities:
    • Not allowed: Use of recreational areas with high-touch equipment or areas for gathering outside of your residence. This includes picnic and barbecue areas, dog parks, and outdoor gym equipment.
    • Allowed: Sports or activities that use shared equipment with members of your own household or living unit . Passive recreation activities – such as walking, jogging, biking, and relaxing – are encouraged so as long as you maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and others and do not congregate in groups.
  • The City will be monitoring future orders of the Health Officer for modifications that would gradually allow for additional reopening of park and recreation facilities and equipment in the safest possible manner and will provide updates as these conditions change.
