Building Permits

Based on the current edition of the International Building codes, building permits are issued during the following days and times.

Monday - Friday

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

These codes are followed not only to protect your health and safety, but that of your property investment as well. If improvements have been made to your home, evidence of a building permit and final inspection of the work is often necessary to obtain financing or sell your property. The Building Department is located at City Hall at 525 Henrietta Street, Martinez, CA 94553.
