In accordance with Senate Bill No. 998 (“SB 998” - the “Water Shutoff Protection Act”), the Martinez City Council approved changes to the City’s water regulations. These changes took effect on February 1, 2020. The new regulations apply to the guidelines the City will follow when turning off residential water service for nonpayment of a delinquent account.
