Processing a water payment through this website could cause a delay of up to 10 business days for your payment to be received and posted to your account.  This may lead to late penalties being assessed on your account or your water being shut-off. You may pay your water bills with American Express, Discover, Visa or MasterCard directly on our website at https://cityofmartinezca.munisselfservice.com/css/default.aspx and your payment will post immediately to your account. You may also view your current account balance, payment history, usage charts and access up to 24 months of your water bills by using the City’s website.

Go to the City Self-Serve webpage, click on Citizen Self Serve, then Utility Billing on the left tool bar. Once on the Utility Billing page, enter your Account Number and Customer ID and click search. When your name and address pop up, click manage bill on the far right of the screen, and at the top right there is an option for EFT enrollment.

Download and complete the EFT Application and email the form to waterbilling@cityofmartinez.org with a scanned copy of a voided check or mail the form to City Hall, ATTN: Water Billing Department, 525 Henrietta Street, Martinez, CA 94553.

Go to the Payment Portal, click on Citizen Self Serve, then Utility Billing on the left tool bar. Once on the Utility Billing page, enter your Account Number and Customer ID and click search. When your name and address pop up, click manage bill on the far right of the screen, and at the top right there will be options to manage your EFT.

• Deed (if you’re the owner)

Note: Water shut off requests are done during normal business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Requests made over the weekends or holidays will take into effect on the following weekday. Final water bills will be sent within 2-3 weeks from the date of the request.

A service charge consists of water delivery to residents, water treatments, meter readings and meter maintenances, whether or not water is utilized at the address or unit.

Email waterbilling@cityofmartinez.org to request a reading of your water meter.  A crew member will assess the issue to determine a possible leak on your property, and that the meter is operating properly.

Download and complete the Leak Adjustment Form including proof that the leak has been repaired, and send it via email it to waterbilling@cityofmartinez.org or via U.S Mail to

Once received, your request will be reviewed and any adjustments will be reflected on the next water bill.

Low water pressure may be a result of a bad pressure regulator that some customers may have in their home. Issues related to the regulator is the responsibility of the customer and may need to contact a plumbing service for further assistance.

If a water main break has occurred within proximity of the address, low water pressure is known as water crews work to repair the main break. This is typically resolved within a few hours.
