You must comply with this notice in the specified amount of time, or you could receive additional fines. Abatement of the violation(s) does not remove the accrued fines but is necessary to prevent further fines.

This is a notice that you are not in compliance with Section 114 of the California Building Code (CBC) or California Residential Code and work must cease immediately on the property until corrective actions are taken to comply with all requirements.

This is a notice that the City has determined that your property has conditions that violated the municipal code without coming into compliance and now will be recorded with the County Recorder’s Office on the property’s title.

To have the Notice removed from the property title, all code violations must be abated and City enforcement fees paid in full.
