Utility Box Art - Community Voting Now Open!
The City of Martinez is excited to invite the community to help shape the next set of public art installations celebrating our City’s 150th anniversary! As part of the Sesquicentennial Utility Box Art Project, 31 original artwork designs are now available for public voting. These designs reflect our shared Sesquicentennial theme Past, Present, Future, Together, honoring the history, culture, and creativity that make Martinez special.
Community members may vote for up to five favorite designs. The top five selections will be presented to the City Council for final approval before installation later this year.
We invite you to browse the submissions, enjoy the creativity on display, and cast your votes today! Voting is open through July 20, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
