Cal Trans has released new information regarding construction work on State Route 4 through and around Martinez. Work will be ongoing through December for daytime striping activities from Morello Ave to I-80, and nightly closure/detour from San Pablo Ave to Cummings Skyway. Daytime striping on SR-4 continues Dec 8–20:
• EB (I-80 → Morello Ave): 8 AM–2 PM
• WB (Morello Ave → I-80): 10 AM–7 PM

Full Closure – Eastbound SR-4

Dates/Times: Monday, Dec 8 – Wednesday, Dec 17 | 7 PM – 6 AM nightly
Detour Routes:
From I-80 → Cummings Skyway:
1️⃣ Continue EB on I-80 to Cummings Skyway Exit
2️⃣ Right on Cummings Skyway Rd.
3️⃣ Right on EB SR-4 Onramp
Temporary one-way traffic control & signal near I-80 at Cummings Skyway Overcrossing.
From Willow Ave → Cummings Skyway:
