City of Martinez Launches Effort to Update Park System Master Plan

The City of Martinez is seeking proposals from qualified firms to help shape the future of its parks and open spaces. The City’s last Park System Master Plan covered 2007–2012 and was instrumental in securing $30 million in Measure H bond funding, leading to major park improvements over the past decade. With those projects now complete, the City is launching a new planning process to guide future investments, enhance recreational access, and evaluate long-term maintenance needs.

Proposals are due by July 16, 2025, with consultant selection expected this fall.
