Flood Alert from Martinez PD - March 24, 2011
The creek water is rising steadily and should crest the Escobar bridge around 3:00 p.m. According to the weather forecast, there does not appear to be a total break in rain until around 5:00 p.m. with rain continuing through the weekend. High tide is expected at 7:13 p.m. this evening, so there is a potential for additional flooding. Sand bags are located at the police department and sand fill stations can be found at Nancy Boyd Park, Highlands Park, Rankin Park, F. St. past the high school and Ferry St. at Allen St.
