Allied Waste Opens Free Single Stream Recycling Drop-off Center
If you have extra "single-stream" recyclables beyond what your weekly service can handle, you're in luck. Allied Waste Services is now providing a drop-off center for single stream recyclables at no cost to Martinez residents and businesses. The center is located at 443 Buchanan Circle in Pacheco, and is open during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that items accepted at the facility are limited to the following: mixed paper, glass, aluminum, cardboard, chipboard (i.e. cereal and shoe boxes), newsprint, plastic food and beverage containers #1-7, and tin/bimetal containers. CRV items, such as plastic bottles and aluminum cans, may be dropped off, but will not be paid cash at this facility. Contact Allied Waste Services at (925) 685-4711 for more information.
