Curb Cut Lawsuit
Martinez, along with nearly every city in the East Bay, has been sued by seven people who use wheelchairs, claiming that missing curb cuts, broken pavement and other obstacles prevent them from using the sidewalks. The City of Martinez, along with other Contra Costa cites, are working together to find a solution to this issue.
