The City Council of the City of Martinez shall consider adopting an ordinance, which has as its purpose the extension of an existing moratorium which, without extension, will expire of October 31, 2018. The existing moratorium ordinance imposes a moratorium on all commericial cannabis activities except for a pending application for a medicinal cannabis dispensary.

CCC Public Works will close access to sidewalk and street parking on Escobar due to the new parking lot construction. Pedestrians on the south side of Escobar, east of the work site, will be able to cross over to the north side at the Morrow House. All pedestrians will proceed along the north side of Escobar to the Pine St stop sign. A concrete barrier will be installed parallel to the HP fence line to create a dedicated pedestrian path. The project timeline has adjusted to be complete by Wed., 10/17.
