Yes.  You have to obtain a Business License and Home Occupation Permit in order to operate a home based business.

 

Yes.  You will also need a Home Occupation Permit.  You may apply for a Home Occupation Permit when you apply for your Business License.  There is a one time fee of $60.00 in addition to you Business License Fee.

Before obtaining your business license, you must fill out an application with the City.  Applications can be obtained at the 2nd floor Water Billing/Business License Window of Martinez City Hall, located at 525 Henrietta Street.
