Center is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Our mission at the Martinez Senior Community Center is to maintain a premier facility and resource center, for educational, recreational, wellness, social, and nutritional programs as well as volunteer opportunities.  Our goal is to meet the needs of the population to ensure quality of life, to promote physical, emotional, and economical well-being and to encourage participation in all aspects of community life in Martinez and surrounding cities.

C.C. Cafe
Join us for Lunch - Monday - Friday at 11:45a.m. $0 For Senior Adults, 60 years and older - Donations: $2.  Under 60 years may attend for $5.00.  To make reservations, call by 12:00 noon on the business day before the day you would like to attend. Facility Rentals 
The Martinez Senior Center is perfect to host many special occasions -- Anniversaries, baby showers, business meetings, dances, birthday parties, or weddings.  The kitchen is attached to our main assembly room and may also be available to rent.  For more information and availability, please call the Center at (925) 370 - 8770. 

Martinez Senior Citizens Club
Our club exists soley for the enjoyment of it's members and guest.  The club sponsors activities, trips, bingo, card games, crafts, pancake breakfast, holiday luncheons, movies and more.  It's truly a club "for it's members, by it's members"  Monthly Board Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month. 

Membership 
A membership at the Martinez Senior Center entitles seniors 50 years of age or over to receive a monthly newsletter of all our activities, tours and special events. The membership fee is $10 per person per calendar year. New members are welcome at any time. Please complete the membership form, self addressed stamped envelope and return to the Senior Center.  We accept checks or cash.  Make sure all checks are payable to the City of Martinez. 

Transportation 
You may purchase Senior, Student and Handicapped BART tickets for $9 ($24 value).  If you need a Senior Clipper Card you must go to the County Connection office.  For more information or application, visit the website for Clipper DiscountsCounty Connection Discount punch cards are available to those 65 and older and any disabled riders.  Cards are for use on fixed-routes and cost $15 (20 rides).  County Connection LINK Paratransit is a door-to-door service for those who are unable to use fix route buses.  You must qualify and apply to use this service. 

Volunteers
The Martinez Senior Community Center has an active volunteer program. Volunteers, provide vital services including assisting with our special events, mailing our bulletin, decorating, nutrition assistance, serving on the Board of Directors, leading tours, and community outreach.  Please stop by the office to check out services needed and pick up a Volunteer Application and Waiver Form.
