Welcome to The City of Martinez Senior Community Center

Purpose
The objective of the Martinez Senior Community Center is to promote educational, recreational and social activities as well as providing services that meet the needs of the senior citizens of Martinez and surrounding cities.

Membership
A membership at the Martinez Senior Center entitles seniors 50 years of age or over to receive a monthly newsletter of all our activities, tours and special events. The membership fee is $7 per person per calendar year. New members are welcome at any time.

Volunteers
The Martinez Senior Community Center has an active volunteer program. Volunteers, provide vital services including assisting with our special events, mailing our bulletin, decorating, nutrition assistance, serving on the Board of Directors, leading tours, and community outreach. Each July, there is a Volunteer Recognition Dinner to show our appreciation for the many tireless hours given by our volunteers.
