The Martinez Police Dispatch Center is the "nerve center" of the Martinez Police Department. If you have an emergency, want to report a crime, obtain advice or have any other business with the Martinez Police Department you will call the dispatch center. 

The dispatcher will be able to route your call to the appropriate agency such as the fire department. For non-emergency calls please dial 925-372-3440.

The Martinez Police Dispatch Center is comprised of 7 full time public safety dispatchers and 4 part time dispatchers. We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. At times it is very busy handling emergencies and you may be put on hold. Please be assured that your call is very important to us and we will handle it as soon as possible. In August of 2003 we installed a new, state of the art Computer Aided Dispatch system to improve our efficiency. We continually look for ways to increase our customer service with the help of new technology and training.
