Class requirements; 10 students minimum – 24 Maximum

Weeknights are 3 ½ hours 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Saturdays are 5 ½ hours 8:00 am to 1:30 pm

This year the skills exercises for these CERT classes will be on June 4th and November 5th.

Basic Radio Communications Class for CERT Graduates

This class is available to CERT graduates that want to enhance their skills with radio communications.

 Course Outline:

·         Selecting and Using Radios
·         Basic Radio Operation
·         How to Formulate Messages
·         Communication Methodology
·         Radio Nets
·         Radio Exercise - The class will conclude with a sample exercise where students will practice the skills learned in class.

When: Saturday October 22, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Where: Martinez City Hall Council Chambers

Registration Requirements: Students wishing to enroll in this class must be either a CERT graduate or currently enrolled in a CERT class.
