The City owns and operates its own treatment plant that supplies water to most of the City of Martinez; over 10,000 customers. Billing is done Bi-monthly with bills generated on the 12th, 19th and 26th of each month. Commercial customers with large meters are billed monthly. If you need to make a water payment, you can pay by credit card online, deposit a check in our drop box outside City Hall at 525 Henrietta Street, mail a check to 525 Henrietta Street, Martinez, CA 94553 or during business hours payments by cash, check or credit card can be made at the second floor of City Hall.
Please Note: Due to federal regulations the City can no longer accept credit card payments over the phone.
Application for water service
To establish a new water account in your name, please complete the application and come into City Hall with a picture ID. In addition, if you are the new owner, please bring proof of the purchase, i.e. title or deed. If you are the new tenant, please bring the lease agreement and $50 deposit.
